The first parade of the new decade fell on a Wednesday, traditionally the quietest day to have it. However, the parade was relatively well attended. The weather wasn't too bad in light of the heavy rain and wind of the following day. There was no collaboration with the other bands at Dookinella leading someone to remark that Dooagh should get rid of the spats next year in favour of runners to get out of the church faster!
